Program Description
Event Details
Join us for a read-aloud of the children's picture book This Book is Banned written by Raj Haldar. Our reader will be Jennifer Lima, a N. Kingstown School Commitee member and a member of Teach Truth RI and the RI Freedom to Read Coalition. Afterward Ms. Lima will host a Q&A session on censorship. There will also be a postcard writing station to support the RI Freedom to Read Act.
All ages are welcome.
