Enjoy a 15 minute reading session with therapy dog Jasmine and her guardian Janice Robertson. Jasmine is a three-year-old American Eskimo/Goldendoodle therapy dog. Jasmine and Janice have completed their credentialing to become a Windwalker Pet Assisted Therapy Team. As part of their credentials, Jasmine has up-to-date veterinary and vaccination records that are available at all times. Additionally, they have completed two internships at Robert Bailey Elementary and Ponaganset Middle School. They worked with students both individually and in small groups. The Northwest Special Education department also provided them with the opportunity to work with students participating in their summer program. They currently continue to work with the students at Ponaganset Middle School twice a week. Jasmine will be available to provide non judgmental support to children as they read to her.
